Questo posto mi manca, mi manca tanto. Mentre addormentavo i miei gnometti pensavo a cosa avrei voluto scrivere, tante idee, tanti pensieri, troppi, troppo tempo che non scrivo. Poi mi è venuto in mente che nel 2013 non ho aggiunto molte foto. Allora oggi poche parole e molte foto dell'anno che è finito. Ai prossimi post, i pensieri, le idee, le letture per il 2014.

I miss this place, I miss it so much. While my dwarves were falling asleep I was thinking about what I wanted to write, so many ideas, so many thoughts, too many, too long since I last wrote. Then it dawned on me that in 2013 I have not uploaded many photos. So now a few words and many pictures of the year that is over. I keep for the next post my thoughts, my ideas and my readings for 2014.

Sleeping and co.

Io di questo inverno non ne posso proprio più.
A dir la verità, l'inverno è stata sempre la mia stagione preferita...forse al pari dell'estate, quelle proprio che ho sempre detestato erano la primavera e l'autunno, le vie di mezzo, il passaggio dal caldo al freddo e viceversa, la luce che cala, il cappotto che ti fa sudare, ecc...Invece quest'anno sono arcistufa dell'inverno. Neve, ghiaccio, bronchiti, tracheiti, tonsilliti e chi più ne ha più ne metta. I miei gnomi afflitti da tutto ciò, hanno deciso che il posto migliore dove svernare è il nostro letto! E dunque via al co-sleeping coatto! Non che sia del tutto contraria a questo metodo, ma svegliarsi con un piede in faccia, un gomito nello stomaco e metà corpo fuori dal letto non è la cosa che prediligo. Mi dicono che rimpiagerò questi momenti, per ora è una gran fatica.
Meno male che oggi c'è il sole!

I cannot stand this winter anymore.
To be honest, winter has always been my favourite season...like summer indeed, what I had always hated were spring and autumn, the middle way, the transition from hot weather to cold one and vice versa, light that drops, the coat that make you sweat, etc.. But this year, I'm sick of winter. Snow, ice, bronchitis, tracheitis, tonsillitis, and so on and so forth. My gnomes plagued by all, they decided that the best place to spend the winter is our bed! So go with forced co-sleeping! I'm not totally against this method, but  it is not very pleasant when you wake up with a foot on your face, an elbow in the stomach and half body out of bed. People tell me that I will regret these moments, now it is a great fatigue.
Luckily today it is sunny!

Pancakes

Ai miei gnomi piacciono i pancake...ormai è diventato un rito della domenica...tu vò fa' l'americano...Oggi non li abbiamo fatti, ma stasera me li hanno chiesti...quindi li preparo per domani mattina!
Ingredienti
1 uovo
20 gr di olio di oliva
20 gr di zucchero
150 gr di latte
125 gr di farina
un po' meno di una mezza bustina di lievito per dolci 
un pizzico di sale

Con il Bimby: 30 secondi vel. 5 poi lasciare lievitare in frigo almeno 2 ore (va bene anche preparalo la sera per la mattina dopo).
Poi fare delle piccole crepes con un cucchiaio grande in una padella imburrata. I pancake sono da girare quando fanno delle piccole bollicine sulla superficie (ca 1 minuto per parte). Sono deliziosi con la marmellata o il miele.

My elves like pancakes...it is a Sunday ritual by now...tu vò fa' l'americano...Today we didn't cook any, but tonight they asked for them...so I prepare the batter for tomorrow morning!
ingredients
1 egg
20 gr olive oil
20 gr sugar
150 gr milk
125 gr flour
less then half sachet of baking powder
a pinch of salt

With Thermomix: 30 sec vel. 5 then let rise in the fridge for at least two hours (it is ok if you prepare the batter for the morning alter).
Then make small crepes with a big spoon in a pan with butter, turn them when they show little bubbles on the surface (about 1 minute per side). They are deliciuos with jam, honey, etc.

La prima volta a teatro :: The first time at the theater

Con il sole della domenica pomeriggio, ci siamo preparate e siamo andate passeggiando verso il centro, destinazione ... il teatro! "Mamma guarda, il teatro è proprio a fianco della biblioteca!" Stiamo per entrare nel mondo del Cubo magico, non sappiamo ancora cosa ci aspetta, non abbiamo voluto sapere nulla prima, sarà tutto una sorpresa. E che sorpresa! "Mamma, possiamo ridere?" Che meraviglia la fantasia, il gioco, lo stupore. Questo spettacolo è un debutto perfetto nella magia del teatro per la mia piccola. Con la gioia ancora negli occhi, torniamo a casa mentre il sole non c'è più e l'aria si fa sempre più pizzichina.

With the Sunday afternoon sun, we prepared and went walking to the town center, destination ... the theater! "Mom look, the theater is right next to the library!" We are about to enter the world of the Magic Cube, we do not know what to expect, we did not want to know anything before, it will all be a surprise. And what a surprise! "Mom, can we laugh?" How wonderful is imagination, play, amazement. This show is a perfect debut in the magic world of theater for my little girl. With the eyes still full of joy, we go back home while the sun is gone and the air is getting fresher.

Il cenone di capodanno :: The New Years Eve dinner

Anche per quest'anno il cenone è stato molto intimo, complici bronchiti e influenze varie, alle 19:45 eravamo già all'ammazzacaffé ed ai cioccolatini del secondo calendario dell'Avvento, "casualmente" dimenticato dalla nonna. Il cenone è stato come da rito:  purè, lenticchie e cotechino! (con la variante dei weiss wurst per gli gnomi, i quali hanno apprezzato molto). Per fortuna al vino ci ha pensato il massaino dell'anno!
La serata è proseguita con balli scatenati e con la visione degli Aristogatti...Tutti quanti voglion fare il jazz perché resister non si può al ritmo del jazz...
A mezzanotte a brindare però eravamo solo in due.

Also this year the dinner was very intimate, accomplices bronchitis and various flus, at 19:45 we were already drinking schnapps and eating chocolates from the second Advent calendar, "accidentally" forgotten by the grandmother. The dinner was as ritual: mashed potatoes, lentils and cotechino! (with the variant of weiss wurst for the gnomes, who loved them). Luckily the "househusband" of the year had thought about the wine!
The evening continued with dancing and with the vision of the Aristocats ... Everybody wants to be a cat, because a cat's the only cat who knows where it's at...
At midnight for the toast, there were only two of us.

Miracolo di Natale :: Christmas miracle

Questa sera, per la prima volta, sono riuscita ad addormentare i due gnometti contemporaneamente e ognuno nel proprio lettino! Grazie Biancaneve! E ora un po' di tempo libero. 

(giornata di prime volte: il piccolo gnomo ha fatto il primo passo e ha mangiato l'omelette con la forchetta, tutto da solo.)

Tonight, for the first time ever, I managed to put my little elfs to sleep at the same time and both in their own bed! Thanks SnowWhite! And now some time off. 

(day of the first times: the little elf has taken the first step and ate the omelette with a fork, all by himself).
